Instead of always whining about, what you have not.
Show some manners, like please and thank you, when someone opens a door,
Don't get all huffy and your pride all hurt, just smile as you walk indoor.
When someone stops to help you, along your journey in life,
Thank them very kindly, and pass along their advice.
Gratitude is an attitude, we should show towards our children,
They didn't ask to be born of us but were sent from God in Heaven.
Gratitude is an attitude, be thankful for great friends,
Show them kindness and mercy and try to make amends.
Gratitude is an attitude, be thankfull for little things,
They may seem small at the time, but quickly add up to blessings.

Oh gentledove with a heart filled with love, knowledge and wisdom too! You are so right, He only loans children to us....they are remain His from the very beginning, and if more realized that fact, they'd take much better care of them...........that's for sure!
My how enjoyed reading your excellent poetry once again! I've missed you........after my computer crashed, it's taken this long again to catch up with you!
This was great!
