Array ( [sid] => 64341 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => THE LITTLE CHILD [time] => 2004-09-19 15:00:21 [hometext] => i wrote this poem when i was thinking about my life when i was younger at home. it is self explanatory and is very close to my heart. [bodytext] => Someone help the little child
that cries inside of me
I don't know how to stop her
or how to set her free

I need someone to listen
and ask why does she cry
Maybe somethings happened
In the many years gone by

Did she have a loving father
and a caring mothers touch
Did they smother her with kisses
Yet lately not so much

Is it going through her mind
that days like that just sleep
She only had them in her dreams
they were never hers to keep

No one can help the little child
that cries inside of me
No one can ever stop her
It's to late to set her free

O' Dancingcatz, your lovely poem just touched my heart so much!
WELCOME TO YPDC YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE IT HERE!!!
We are one big family, and love each other alot. If you want to be loved, tell that little girl inside of you that you've come to the right spot!
I would suggest that you start loving that lovely child inside of you.......every single day
and night! I was an abused and mutilated child, and decided not to pick up where my parents left off.........I started loving me through thoughts..........and it soon turned into reality!
I loved your poem dear......do it again. I'll be here for review.
And thank you so much for reading my dreams
Warm love and hugs
Lovingcritters
ConSue

Powerfully written. Terribly tragic. For you to write this you must be an extremely strong person. Your poetic talent is wonderful and expressive. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to more of your work.
