Time of Essence
~~~
Changing world in changing times
Spirited debates and annoying wines
Both political parties ran by greed
Special interest fills their need
Which side of the fence has the greener grass?
That all depends on whom you ask
Outside influences take the rein
Destroying the good in someones name
Issues sat aside, personalities take center stage
While our nation is divided and full of rage
Can one man unite what has fallen apart?
Does he have the courage and the heart?
All I know is that something has got to change
The security of our nation is at close range
People need to wise up and take a stand
Before freedoms are gone for the common man
