[hometext] => I'll probably hate myself for posting this somewhere down the road...but until then...
[bodytext] => A war rages, and we’re using the same excuses that were taught to us from youth. Frightened by our lust for blood, they were on the retreat…but no more. Blind faith is foolish, but more so is the belief that all we’ve been told is truth. Our control is slipping away from us; we’re losing a battle that we’d won once before. The earth is red, like the moon on the night of our death, but we notice none of this. And we fight, but we do not struggle…pray, but dare not hope for escape. Cold arms wrap us in an embrace of betrayal, and we’re sent to our death with a kiss. This nightmare, this sickeningly twisted fantasy…we may sleep, but I fear we won’t wake. Make the best of your time in a world filled to the brim with nothing worth saving. One can never tell what will be presented when faced with such a fickle thing as fate. This conflict of ethics, this vile thing we call life…rush in, no banners waving. Unobtrusive, I’ll be here when you fall, when you fail, when you cry, when you lose…I will wait.
