so I ring first to make sure they're on time
yes come on in now
your next in line

I go on in
and see Auntie Jess
we ask how we both are feeling
and lie saying great I guess

other names are called
it's now 10 past 3
maybe I'm next
Auntie Jess goes home I'm left to wait and see

I go to the counter and ask what has happened?
don't worry they stress
your Doctor has been called out
he will be back soon no less

thinking to myself
can my Doctor appointment wait
is it really urgent
I'll cancel as it's getting late

just about to make another time and date
the Doctor calls my name
I follow behind
and I feel mad all the same

I have my scan
and go home feeling flushed and misunderstood
the receptionist rings
you need another scan that one was no good
