thoughts evolve of great unrest
when things implode from more to less
All that's left is love

Friends depart when troubles rise
Alone men hide there tears inside
forlorn hearts hidden inpride
All that's left is love

Strip away the wall that's built
minus all the hurt and guilt
mend the broken heart like quilt
All that's left is love

Shed blood in war torn streets
Kill and tear devour and eat
Stomp and cry and grit your teeth
All that's left is love

Ponder questions in your head
Ponder life when lying in bed
Think about all that is ahead
All that's left is love

When all else fails and dreams decay
When fossils we are in the grave
and generations pass away

You're right; this is very true. The rhyme is good and it's easy to follow your train of thought. Thanks.

What can I say that you haven't already heard before? You have a great talent man, and the fact that it is so rare for men like us to share our emotions on paper is what makes this a great form of expression. I know how you feel and I also know that love can bring about the greatest things in life and it can also bring about the greatest pain. The price you pay for something so grand. Keep writing man. Expresion sometimes is the only thing we have and when everything else is gone, it's the only thing we can turn to.
