So I can feel
An emptiness lurks within my skin
Feeding off my most inner thoughts
Making me into who I shouldn’t be
But I am who I am
A lost lonely soul
Walking in a world that looks so fake…
Bodies…
Voices…
Day and night…
All the same…
We start out with innocence since our birth
We end up with nothing
Miserable as our lives seem to go by so slowly…
Noticing how much we truly do hate ourselves…
How no one can really help us out
We can’t even help ourselves…
So we sit and wonder…
How nothing ever seems to go right
How life is just filled with so much hate and despair
Losing ourselves more and more by the day…
Our last thoughts seem to be about how we were actually nothing in life
How nothing actually meant nothing…nothing at all…
No purpose…no purpose at all…
Just a waste…a waste of what we thought was real
But wasn’t real at all…

i agree with you on so many points in this poem. this was very good and very thought provoking, i am already a little depressed today, and for some this made it worse, which made me feel better. hmmm, strange.

This poem is really stirring, but a good one, and I really liked the finale, Keep on writing and I'll keep on reading.
