You cant make her stay
You cant keep her away
But before you let her go
There’s something you otta know

She aint like the other ones
Once she’s hurt she’s gonna run
To get away from all the pain
You caused her the day it rained

She cant sleep with out some light
Afraid your memory just might
Find her laying there
In the darkness by the stairs

Crying away the tears
The pain that holds her here
She cant find the words to say
That shell leave him someday

It hurts to much to think
That maybe just one more drink
Will kill the pain today
And make your love go away

But why is she lying there

Disappear
You cant make her stay

A good poem and well written too, I really like the last two lines "But why is she lying there
The pain he caused just wont disappear", Good effort.

i love poems that rhyme...partially because i can't rhyme well myself.

beautiful...sadly, darkly beautiful.

i feel "her" pain...so sad. but - that's what makes poetry awesome - the ability to make the reader feel the emotions portrayed in a few lines and stanzas.
