A true friend is dear and understanding
Listens to you and gives advice
Trusts you and accepts your flaws.
A true friend does not judge you
Leave you or betray you.
He does not tell your secrets
Go out with your crush
Nor does he want to.
A true friend acknowledges the fact
That you are your own person
That you have many talents as well as goals
And that you won't change for anyone.
A true friend gives you space
But doesn't go to far away
Cares and loves you
But shares you with the world
And gives you a shoulder to lean on
But never puts your weakness against you.
A true friend is what you are
And I apprieciate that with all of my heart.
My only question to you my friend is,
Am I a true friend to you?
