I thought fondly of you no end,
But today you died, went away,
To animal heaven is now where you stay.

I remember when I first bought you,
& I watched happily as you slowly grew,
Your soft, golden fur & little red eyes,
Just to think makes me want to cry.

You are now buried gone for good,
The flow has now left your blood,
You have slipped into an eternal sleep,
I pray to God your soul he’ll keep.

You looked so peaceful lay in your cage,
Your life was short you were 3 years of age,
I don’t really want to say goodbye forever,
I didn’t want this time to come, never.

You will always be inside my heart,
As you have been from the start,
Spike you will be dearly missed,
On your passing I lay this kiss.

Aww, Krissy, I am so sorry. They are such precious little ones. So sweet and cuddly.
He will be safe in heaven.
