When I look into your eyes...
I can feel your pain... burning deep inside
It's transferred between us...
Flowing so free...
Flooding our souls
But I still can't imagine your pain...
The pain... you feel each and every night
I just can't imagine... what you're going through
Each and every time...
I wish that I could help you...
My heart breaks... in two... each time I see your pain
And I can feel it filter through your voice...
Each time you speak to me
You know... babe...
I love you...
But there's nothing... I can say or even do
That will help you
I can feel you drowning deep inside your pain
It's swim or die...
As the pain echoes through your mind
Thoughts and feelings resounding through time
Like a lifetime of memories...
Fading from the heart
Leaving not a trace behind...
Blending into the nothingness of life
But our lives are like ripples upon the pond
We touch each lives... in ways...
We don't even know or understand
We touch both foe and friend
We let our love flow... to the end
'Cause our actions are everlasting impressions
Our words may one day cease to exist
But our actions speak louder than our words...
Echoing on through time
From the very moment...
When I first held you in my arms
You've been one of the most perfect expressions...
In my life...
A melody of love
You say... that I've saved your life in every possible way...
I've heard that many... many times before
But I've have no idea of the countless lives I've saved
Or how many lives I've touched... with no name
By just being there...
By reaching out with just a word... a touch... a smile
If I can save just one life...
Then... it's all been worth while...
Because... I love you...
