When you stand by the window

Sometimes I see a reflection

But there is no body there

Sometimes I can even hear you

When you call my name

When I feel down and tired

When I really need someone

I feel you take my hand

It feels so warm

It feels like water

Flowing through sand

I know it is you

Keeping me safe

When I sleep at night

I feel you next to me

It’s never cold when I feel you

We never touch but we still hold hands

You even wipe the tears from my face

How you do the things you do

Why you love me when we never met

Why were you taken from me?

I don’t know why we never had a chance

I wish this poem was true because I wouldn't mind seeing a ghost by the window. I wish I could see a
ghost.
