[bodytext] => Life brings me joy, it brings me sorrow. Thinking of you brings me pleasure, thinking of you brings back memories. Memories I want to forget. Memories I never wanted. Thinking of you makes me want to kill It makes me want to get revenge, to make it end. I can't get to you, you constantly elude me. I see you for a second, then you run away. Twice I've pondered why. Why I hate you so? Then I thought it was all you. Now I know it's all me. From the insertion point of pen to paper, For a presidents term you've molded me. Now to end what should have never begun, I must question where are you? Where do you reside? How can I find you? There are so many questions I must ask. Questions I'll never know the answer to unless my eyes rest upon you. A peace might never be inside me, Untill I see your name etched in a stone That covers your eternal resting place Yet today I realized my answers reside not far away. I can figure it out. I have become you. Slowly you have taken over my life. Your age and weakness has allowed You to pass onto me your wretched torch. T he anger I've felt, this hatred I've stored This life I've lived, its no longer mine I have become what I have hated most I have become what I truly despise This peace I wish for, This hope I have Will come when my heart beats last Until it's my name above my grave, This hatred I have might never end [comments] => 2 [counter] => 149 [topic] => 6 [informant] => m3 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )
