Array ( [sid] => 66806 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Silence [time] => 2004-10-10 04:54:47 [hometext] => [bodytext] => The floating leaf drifts away from the dwelling of peace. Carried by a soft breeze of promise, away it went gently with a scent of fall. A shade of yellow in a sea of red, it silently screams of loneliness out of beauty.

Fragmented thoughts pieced into a broken mirror. On it, the blurred outline of bare self. Who am I? Cracks branched off as an overpowering hand beyond the borders of reflection. The grip persists over a brief eternity. Broken.

Surrendering to illogical sensibility with a blend of exhilaration and apprehension, I leaped off the green lioness connecting two worlds. The leaf is free again ever so briefly. Gliding down to the blue open arms of the bustling sea gracefully. A dignified decent.

In the cradle of the sea, only waves of curving warmth. Looking through a blue lens, I’ve seen too much pain. Yearning to return to innocence is a realization of impossibility. I search for wisdom. I found it in silence, a perfect synchronicity of words that connect the souls.

reading this poem gave me the feeling of it being a mystical write, of a mind reaching into other realms, following a path of seeking.
