as my heart beats at a steady pace.
Hands trembling and weak at the knees.
Nervousness and happiness runs all through me.
Back in the arms that held me so tight.
Oh how I have waited for this special night.
Lips in lips, hand in hand,
I don't know if I sit or stand.
Feels as if I'm floating high,
or if I'm soaring like a bird in the sky.
Eyes locked on mine.
So blue and beautiful with a shine.
I open my mouth but words don't come out,
but it's alright you hear my screams and shouts.
We now lay down to try to close our eyes,
as the night still spinning, passes us by.
Awakening from the ringing of the phone,
opening my eyes from a dream that is gone.

Tears of joy stream down my face,
as my heart beats at a steady pace.
Hands trembling and weak at the knees.
Nervousness and happiness runs all through me.
