Array ( [sid] => 6826 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Breathe [time] => 2002-11-16 15:40:00 [hometext] => [bodytext] => Trapped behind these four walls, begging for help
Shouting unspoken words, screaming silently
Knowing no one can rescue her from this velvet oblivion
She sits awake, eyes wide open, dreaming violently.

She mumbles blindly, asking questions she knows won’t be answered
Expecting so little, wanting so much
She ponders, lets the golden words dance over her lips
Waiting for the angels embrace, wanting the devils touch.

She terrified, she knows what she’s capable of doing
Scared of life and scared of the pain
She fumbles for a match to light up the dark
And when it finally strikes, you blow it out again.

Her fight for life, it’s futile
What’s the point in saving what isn’t there?
She’s too far gone to give a **** now
Too far to worry, too far gone to care.

She’s tired of life and she’s weary with fear
She can no longer fly, all she does is fall
She knows there’s nothing she can do to save herself now
And she stops to laugh at the irony of it all.

She knows all she ever did wrong was smile
You didn’t like, you were jealous, you made her cry
So she sits in the black of her imprisoning cell
Waiting for death now, ready to die.

When you are depressed and don't know
how to cope know that you have vast potential
and can accomplish anything you put your
mind to. Keep your head up high, respect
yourself, and NEVER sell yourself short.

I love you,
Joel
