She swallows the greenery with rustic hues.
Her tasteful wind entices the fluttering leaves
To dance down to a soft, warm earth.

Her Midas touch creates a golden fairytale.
A sublime serenity, unspeakably soothing.
The air's warm scent swirls in magnificence,
Nature sings to a harmonizing horizon.

Her gentle and subtle existence alone
Stirs up a mindful of memories...
Of cozy fireplaces, enchanting books,
Growing smiles, waning fears.

Her gentle hand caresses my thoughts,
My heart warming in her embrace.
Her days are that of peace and beauty.
Her life, her touch subdued with grace.

I wish the weather were like that here. It's a cold and drizzly autumn this year, unfortunately. It's making me actually want winter, something I've never wanted before.
I'm so glad you've captured nature the way you have. You're paying attention just like I do now.

Lots of love and peace be with you,

Chelsea

A great poem, Carrie. Awesome. Your imagery is vivid.
Take care, my love.
