The flow is overbearing
The walls are caving in
Can only one thing truly lift it?
When we have so much to begin
I can feel it taking over
Just like everyone else has
But when I feel disconnected
I just find my face and stab
OUR SIGHT
OUR TONGUES
WE BLEED
BUT WE'RE NUMB
OUR HOPES
OUR DREAMS
DRIVEN
TILL WE SCREAM
{ ***** IT }
HOW CAN WE BLAME
WHEN THE TOUCH, ALWAYS FEELS THE SAME
WHEN PEOPLE CRY AND DIE
OVER SOMETHING, THAT EQUALS NOTHING
...OR EVERYTHING
DEPENDING ON HOW YOU LOOK AT IT
BUT IT MAKES ME SICK
WHEN WE SIGH...
WHEN WE SPEAK THOSE HOLLOW WORDS
AND THE FEELINGS ATTACHED ARE ABSURD
JUSTIFY...
THE REASON WE HAVE TO GIVE
AND RECEIVE TO EVEN LIVE
Are disappointments endless?
Or is it all in our mind?
Do we search for something hopeless?
Or will it come in due time?
I can't believe that anymore
My past just burns that down
I can feel you're insecure
But I can't stop cause no one's around
