Array ( [sid] => 68496 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Thank You [time] => 2004-10-22 18:47:28 [hometext] => this is for a guy that's new in my life.... [bodytext] => I never knew it was possible for me to laugh again
After only meeting once, I see you as more than "friend"
Our meeting was magickal, at least it was for me
All this time I've been looking, now it's you I see
You made me smile when no one thought I could
If I could fly to the moon and back, I know now I would
No one's eyes were hypnotic, until I looked into yours
I'm still holding back, everyone says, "What are you waiting for?"
There's something about you I can't figure out
All that pain I had made me want to shout!
I was blaming myself, I'd stopped living my life
But you made me forget all my trouble and strife
I find myself thinking about you, and that night we shared
All I've ever felt, none of it could possibly ever compare!
I may sound pathetic, I'd even say unreal...
But no one possibly knows how you've made me feel
This mood I'm in is full of emotion
They're racing together, and I'm swimming in an ocean
Thank you for shining this light on my world!
You see the woman, not "daddy's little girl"
Who would have thought I could feel this way?
I find I wake up and think more of you each day
Everything about you is music to my heart,
And you've rebuilt a world that had fallen apart. This touched my heart so deeply. I think it is important to communicate to those-- close to us how thankful we are to have them. You have composed a wonderful poem that truly and effectively grasps the reader.
