Tears for the Living

Topic: mythology

The tears fall from my eyes,
And turn to pearls as they hit the ground,
Filling up my ocean of dreams;
Soon it will be full,
And I will be free to leave this wretched place
And live among the living yet again

And as the garnet sky
And amethyst moon,
Fly overhead,
I remember how I was
And will be again some day

I'd say, from a very well eductated 13 year old. Keep writing like this and your future will be bright indeed. This is extremely well done and creative . I throughly enjoyed reading and look forward to reading future creations. Thanks for sharing.

This is a very good poem. From the way you write, it doesn't seem like your 13 years old. Keep up the good work!!!
