not in gentle little angel of darkness whispers,
but with a sledgehammer right to my heart.

Drowning in the rush, I can’t breathe,
a pool of tears collects in my hands,
hold them, they represent all that’s wrong with me
Despair gives way to anger and my mind’s new home
is painted in crimson, blood,
a red room filled with hate where denial resides.

But despair is only impersonating anger
and the anguish of this tired life returns,
weighing me down once again with self imposed shackles.

Cover my face with my hands and inflict pain to numb,
How the hell did I end up this way?
I will try, run, pretend till the day I die, but this is all a part of me. Tears can represent a lot, you choose one of them and it fits perfectly. Great job.
