The temptation over whelmed me
But I couldn't let it be.
Deep down inside I knew
As the autumn wind blew.
The moon gazed down,
The stars made a twinkling sound.
Under the clear navy sky,
Was when I felt the urge to cry?
You left me alone.
Your love for me was never shown.
What happened that day?
When everything you said wouldn't be okay?
Deep down inside I knew,
No one ever realized but a few,
That we were so happy that time,
I was yours, and you were mine.
