My swan is so beautiful as is our love,

The swan so delicately crafted holds so much beauty,
You made it out of the blue, not out of duty,
These little loving things come as a surprise,
They elevate my heart right up into the skies.
I look over at my icing swan that you made,
A wonderful show of your love you displayed,
I never thought I could find a love like yours,
But I have & it’s bursting through my door.
I will treasure my swan forever & a day,
Always in my heart is where the swan will stay,
Love to me is about all the little, precious things,
As they are the ones that make my soul truly sing.

I can't ever recall seeing a white icing swan but it sounds elegant, delicate and gorgeous.

| I remember when my Mark sent me his home made cookies..yummy. I still have one in the freezer..not as romantic as a beautiful swan..and I did have to eat them. but no one had ever made me cookies before; no man I mean..it made my heart soar..that's a wonderful feeling. Your poetry captures it well..great job. |
