A new habit of watching your dreaming
A very gentle and tender embrace, I’m preparing
Should your dreams turn into things scaring

Sneaking from the softness of your angel lips
The sweet flavor of an early-morning angel kiss
A softly spoken I love you gently slips
Should I assume, you were awake, waiting for this

Far beyond the magical, the splendors of your unmatched beauty
Echoing the sounds of your breathing, with my heart’s harmony
Trapped in the sounds of the rain, my peaceful love’s melody
So serene and flesh so soft, the sleeping angel next to me

Sleeping angel, if I kissed you just one more time
Will your pale blue eyes be the haven I find?
Is that my image dancing through your mind
That makes your smile so grand and wide?

Sleep… sleep my angel

So far from visible a sign of you awakening
Steal a kiss, wanting to take you from sleeping
Closing blinds, stopping the sun’s peeping
Drawing the shades, preventing light’s creeping

Closing the door, keeping silence locked inside
In me, your slumber’s guardian you can hide
Taking shelter from the nightmare of your past life
If I kiss you one last time, will it help heal your strife

Sleeping angel, if I kissed you just one more time
Will your pale blue eyes be the haven I find?
Is that my image dancing through your mind
That makes your smile so grand and wide?

Sleep… sleep my angel
