Caught in the middle of all this confusion
With nothing but a pen
I write it all down
To sort it all out
Trying to do what I can
A teen's world is a scary place
Getting trapped in useless things
Trying to dig out
With my words
Sitting here and looking around
I see
My pen is the only thing safe

At least you have an outlet, there are too many people in the world without even that. Use your pen, we are all delighted to see your work! Good write...close to home for many of us I would imagine!
