[bodytext] => Featherless falling, Catching the light, mourning Silent sighs escapes From half-formed words. The serene sound of an angel falling. Wings shatter like shards of glass Cutting what souls remain. Touched by grief and pain Compassionate heat of the summer day Escapes on the breath Of an Angel, wingless. Landing on air, no sound is heard Of the Angel dying near me. Can you feel the cool breath, the wings Flutter and brush my cheek. Eyes ever looking forward, ever forward Life full of hope, Now turn backwards and embrace the pain No longer the eternal hope Fills our lives as an angel dying Turns away and sighs. No longer shining the heart begins to cloud As the realities of the world begins to rise Dying a painful death Racked by human woes The angel dies, no longer glows. And we are left alone To feel the woe Of an angel falling into understanding That innocence is not lost but taken Feathers fall And cover the floor Where an angel died Not long before [comments] => 3 [counter] => 174 [topic] => 13 [informant] => winged [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
