Can’t remember the last time it shone,
I stare up into the sky late at night,
Still holding onto my dreams so tight.

For years I wished upon my little star,
That it would take me somewhere far,
But here I am at twenty-two,
In the same place & feeling blue.

I close my eyes to see if I can see,
That little star that means so much to me,
But this time it has gone into hiding,
As no longer can I see it shining.

Please little star I need you so,
Tell me why you had to leave me & go,
What did I do to deserve all this?
You really don’t know how much I miss.

I need you to grant me all me wishes,
My bleeding heart has run out of kisses,
I want to lay my head down & rest,
In your bright glow I long to be dressed

But here I am at twenty-two,
In the same place & feeling blue.
So young and full of dispair...gawd Im 34 a good reason to dispair....
I hope your star shines bright once again...keeping the shadows at bay...and bringing the warmth of joy back in to your heart and life...peace to you my friend and always take care

Karl

I believe in you Pixie and I believe you have alot of talent as a writer and composer of poetry.

I think your star is shining brighter than ever you just can't see it, but I can.

Keep on writing and may it help you thru the troubled times.

Kie
