[bodytext] => I would say that my star has gone, Can’t remember the last time it shone, I stare up into the sky late at night, Still holding onto my dreams so tight. For years I wished upon my little star, That it would take me somewhere far, But here I am at twenty-two, In the same place & feeling blue. I close my eyes to see if I can see, That little star that means so much to me, But this time it has gone into hiding, As no longer can I see it shining. Please little star I need you so, Tell me why you had to leave me & go, What did I do to deserve all this? You really don’t know how much I miss.
