Not enough stars in the heavens that shine
To bestow all the love in this heart of mine
Not enough words that existed through time
To describe such feeling so utterly sublime.
Add up all the love in the world that exists
From all the weddings and relationships
To teenage fumbling and midnight trysts
Doesnt come close to such feeling as this.
In darkness there is no beacon but you
A light on my path thats steady and true
Brighter than sunlight and stronger than glue
Generous wondrous beautiful you.

this poem is great considering the tough rhymes that you had to come up with (and did a beautiful job with too) ..
the only thing that i am puzzled about is "doesn't" ... i can't decide whether grammatically if "don't" would be the correct choice... hmmmmmmm

| Hi, "don't" would work just as well I think, "but doesn't" is what popped out of my head when I was writing and I was satisfied that it looked ok to me. Thanks for the comment :)) |
