Unsettling wind blowing again
I feel it surging within
Sitting quietly meditating
It's visions I'm blocking

Candles lit around
Myself I'm trying to ground
Vast images coming forth
But it's peace that I loathe

To calm my anxieties
Get rid of these fantasies
Fairy tales are for the idiot
Sometimes I wonder if they really exist.

About This Poem:

My gift from the Devine is that of an empath. Sometimes the visions and feelings are overwhelming. Sometimes I wish they would leave me. I'm still working on blocking them from taking me over.

Unsettling wind blowing again
I feel it surging within

Love how the emotions in your poems are just set free through the reader and They are very skillfully written.
