This time he is not strong enough to hold his own
He works a full time job to help his mom pay the bills
No time for himself or any other…

He learns that a girl in his English class truly likes him, while he had his headphones “on”
She was talking to her friends, saying how she cares for him
Little did she know his music was not playing, He heard every word
He liked her too, but fate would not allow him to be with anyone.
Deep down he wanted to cry, for she would not understand.
A secret he keeps to himself, no one else would learn.
He will never dream again

She can never know about his feelings
He could not be with her since he had no time
So he saves his breathe and doesn’t tell her how he feels
In due time she moves on, Her heart soon belongs to another.
And while she speaks about her boyfriend with pride
Deep down he tries not to cry
If only he had a normal life, She could be with him
But until that time, he will never dream again.
