and with each time you wandered why...
but in my heart i knew you loved me, or maybe it was all a lie.
i cried as i spoke the words of my unending love,
but each and every time through out all these years,
all my love fell on deaf ears,

now i am all alone and deeply missing you,
the one thing i thought would never come true,
i am standing face to face with my deepest fears,
that my love fell on deaf ears

no one here to reach out to,
no one here to cling to,
nothing here but me and my memory of you,
why did the most pain full fear come true.
why must my love fall on deaf ears...

i scream out to you but you don't hear me, nobody hears,
for my scream are to deaf ears.
why is it that i reach for you here tonight
but nothing but endless night,
the moon looks down upon my soul
and the clouds began to weep
for what i thought were nothing but deaf ears,
were the angels who helped me defeat my fears.
now i must ask why no longer have you to hold,
how come i feel my heart turning cold.
but no answers are given to me,
now i see that in all my fears,
the deaf ears
they were mine

This is brilliant, and that ending left me speechless. A heart-wrenching write, I hope you feel better soon.

Take Care

A sad poem. Good though, keep sharing.
