i sit and look out my window
and listen to the rain
the gentle pitter patter
it takes away my pain
i look out my window
into a world of dismal dark
listening to the demons song
as it etches in its make
the rain so pure and gentle
burns the demons' soul
so i watch the demons persih
as the rain does take its toll
they sing as they diminish
fading like the sun
they sing as no one listens
i'm the only one
im staring out my window
into a world of dismal dark
listening to the demons' song
as it etches in its mark...
the song is slowly fading
here now but gone so soon
as the demons die before me
no longer to hear their tune...
