Array ( [sid] => 74650 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Inkwell is Filled [time] => 2004-12-06 16:14:18 [hometext] => this isn't with the album series, but just kinda something that popped into my head...Its about how so much experience, and pain, and emotions are put into words in poetry...If you comment, that'd rule... [bodytext] => Tears drip
Blood spills
Eloquently falling
The crimson poured into
The inkwell
Of so carefully misspelt words
Percieved, is the idea of confusion
Percieved as if every tear
Was dealt with alone
Dying alone
But passing through the inkwell
And intermingling with the blood
Just as black as the heart from which it spilled
Just as black as the ink before
Blood will fill that inkwell
Along with tears
Meaningless, careless tears
Thoughts of love
And broken years
Years reckoned dead
Like the afflicted moth
Borne to the wind
Wind that carries everything
So that, too, will be
Mixed into the well
So everything will be written
As the poets pen is drowned

Another good write.
I like the use of the inkwell
and the poet drowned in it.
You have good ideas
and express them very well
in your poetry.
