Mother Mary looked up with tears in her eyes
In angony Love looked down
Soliders drew lots for His robe cast aside
He saw me I know He did
John held Mary Behold your son
Peter ran and hid
Mother Mary then given to man
Red red red is the rose
Love cast away my sin
Scarlet red was His robe
Lost in time never to be found
Seamless garment ruby red
Prayer is heard without a sound
Across the heavens the world be scarved
The setting and rising sun
Red red red the ruby robe
Ever living is Marys Son
The earth is clothed
Love lives on
Heaven holds the ruby red robe
