[hometext] => I love the ocean and have lived near it all my life. Its endless beauty and change is what inspired this poem.
[bodytext] => Dappled light plays with the shadows And the plants sway full of grace All the colours of the rainbow Can be found in this peaceful place Bubbles dance like playful moonbeams Through an endless starry sky And the sound of mournful whalesong Can make the strongest want to cry Softly shimmering in the moonlight White stallions race toward the shore Their thundering hooves echo through the night But once on the shore they are no more If you listen only with your heart To the special secrets of the shells You’ll hear the magical mysteries that are part Of the ocean’s tale to tell.
