Like the thousands of rehashed poems and poets.
Why do people insist on typing when there isn't anything to say,
An idiot box of conversation,
Speaking about life, or work, or love.
I don't care to hear the sob story,
Or listen to the one on ethics and politics.
Beckoning me with no purpose, wasting their time,
And more importantly, my time.
I don't mean to be rude but someone has got to tell them.
It's these same people who read and comment with an "amazing".
The same people who read and can't figure out how to respond to greatness,
It's to big for them, they do not grasp it.
So they leave a one word summation,
Of a working, for some, could have taken a lifetime to write.
That is the most insulting thing to see,
All those long lonely nights,
Captured in one phrase.
Nice, beautiful, awesome.
Now we have a netwok of narks,
Patrolling for anything that doesn't fit into the Reich.
It's a genocide of poetry and poets, a modern holocaust.
Because the few who speak out are going to be punished if they do,
Keeping everyone quiet, killing the brightest to save the Beaurocracy.
Peeling away anything with an opinion to quell the righteuos.
Well report me to Mick, tell him what I said.
I'll make sure I knew who it was though,
An eye for an eye. Nice.....^_^ I'm jus kiddin! I totally agree with you.....I won't set foot in a coffee shop with the poetry reading thing....it makes me sick.
The way they read....oh you have to make each word crisp....dumb hippies....read naturally! is that so hard? oh, I also hate when people call me a poet.....I either give them a slurred couple of profanities....or just tell them not to call me that....I uh....have some issues with particular things of that nature(my psychologist thinks i'm nuts....go figure) anyway...obviously i like this...or i wouldn't waste my time writing in the lil box.....
which reminds me....IGNORE THE BOXES!!

adieu, abraham

read my poems and you will altogether change your opinion about poems and poets. it`s not that they write them as poems. they express their feelings out of words. Read my poem on WORDS particularly. when I write a poem I read my mind.

Still brings a smile...
Although melancholy now.
