The sunshine communicates with the air and they agree to tickle and taunt my senses.
I am tied down to these books and commitments.
My mind drifts off to the joyful water flowing with a rhythm that you can dance to.
The colors of the flowers lining that musical creek, blinding in all their beauty.
I am draped in their fragrance.
The delicious rain that cascades down my skin falls so gently and perfectly that time in its entirety stops so that this one daydream can last forever.
Now the icy water is covered in snow and the muddy banks are sloshed with the remnants of a late January hail storm.
The color dial on the worlds television has been turned all the way to minimum.
The shadows are darker and the snow is nothing but dull.
The books call me back from the window and screech at me to review and scold me for daydreaming.
But one look back at those tulips and daisies could be the medicine I need to brave the books again.

This is an interesting concept and poem. I often find myself getting lost in daydreams as well but then only find myself diddapointed when I fall back into reality and realize that it WAS just a daydream. Lovely poem, very descriptive and your words and phrases fit together very nice. Great Job!
