Landing strongly on the roof, are drumbeats of a harmonic line that follows the footsteps of my thoughts.
The decreasing rhythm of the rain brings the yearning for rest back to my weary mind.

I stare out my window to watch the puddles growing on the street.
The green grass becomes covered in a watery blanket of beautiful instrumentation.
A car drives through a small ocean to cause the sudden splash of a climactic final verse.
And the sky brightens in the background as the sun chases away clouds of music makers.

As the musicians flee their perches, which once graced the grand stage of the heavens;
A rainbow conductor stretches across the sky to bring an end to the watery symphony. This imagery of this poem is amazing. To think that your imagination could create such a piece is really impressive. You said your poem was inspired by the works of others; this type of poem inspires me to write. This is incredible. 5 stars.
