Nothing is fair, nothing makes sense
Anarchy seems a beautiful option
From the American so-called government
An anarchist I will be
As long as the presidency is taped to my dartboard
The needle point of justice
Rips through the paper of Democracy
And America bleeds the blackest ink
And while the black runs
To merge with the void
An emptiness that drowns unspoken words
The system has not stopped the poets
The fakes and clones have not and will never quiet us [comments] => 5 [counter] => 787 [topic] => 8 [informant] => eyesxcriedxout1989 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 17 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AmericanTragedy )

Now this I like, especially the part that reads,

"The system has not stopped the poets
The fakes and clones have not and will never quiet us"

Keep it up!

Enjoyed the cynism here. The last two lines remind me of a line from a Rancid song - "My only weapon is poetry". So very true, for after we are long gone our words linger throughout time. America seems to have become a tragedy indeed. If only people would learn how to moderate themselves ...

peace
TS (a quiet anarchist)
