I scream for help,
But no one hears,
Im all alone,
I must face my fears.
A candle Flickers,
Theres hardly any light,
My eyes must adjust,
To the fast coming night.
My heart is beating wildly now,
I must escape this place,
But how?
A door is closing,
I have no strength,
I cannot make that final length.
Heaven or hell, which will it be?
As i give up my soul,
The only thing to do,
Is prey that god will help me...

I like your poem and am glad you want comments on it because I have one that I probably wouldn't give otherwise.
Believe me I'm not trrying to come across as a know it all but this is something I do know about. If you are scared it's understandable given society's misconceptions but there's no need to be. It isn't a tough thing to do when the time is right and unless you're hit by a truck or thrown from a 30 story bldg it's not going to happen before you're ready (at that last instant you understand).
Everyone does it. The weak the strong those with brilliant/sharp minds and others with the brain of a hockey puck... we all do it and we all do it successfully because it's not difficult.

This is so beautifully written, i love the title of this poem as well it goes with it perfectly. I've sat in this place more times than i count to remember, and i can honestly say that many times i failed miserably obviously. KM is right to a certain point, if it's not time it won't happen. I would hope this isnt how your really feeling because it's a very dark place to be sitting in your life, and if you need to talk i don't mind listening. My heart goes out to you. I enjoyed reading this one it touched my heart very deeply.

brilliant!! i like how u've described all of those emotions in just piece of writing. the silent torments and those screams that no one seems to hear. thank u for another great poem huni!! keep writing because u inspire me and i'm thinking a lot of other people as well.
