Array ( [sid] => 77060 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Married Christmas [time] => 2004-12-23 19:07:33 [hometext] => This poem is dedicated to my wife, my soul mate. I would like to share it with you, however, as it is also a Christmas poem [bodytext] => Yes the holiday is here
Which makes it a special time of the year
House all decorated so nice
Candles burning with a wonderful aroma of spice

Smell of the pine Christmas tree in the air
Essence of your presence everywhere
A warm fire crackling so loud
Over-all ambiance of which we are proud

What connects this all together
Is the loving presence of two spirits tethered
What consummates this loving bond
Is a special presence emanating from beyond

It's as if we connect in a mystical dimension
Where only our two souls make a connection
All the gifts one could buy
Have no bearing on the presence of you and I

We exist for each other to commemorate
What God in His teachings did communicate
A loving bond between man and woman is His gift
It is the epitome of love for which this couple exists

For without God at the core there would be no space
To cross over the abyss to enter this special place
Gods favor and blessing is bestowed upon us by His son
Made manifest in the bond of marriage where we two became one [comments] => 8 [counter] => 238 [topic] => 55 [informant] => Willofree [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )
