Array ( [sid] => 77275 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Love's Revival [time] => 2004-12-26 02:31:32 [hometext] => This is a poem that I wrote becuase I wanted to, not based on inspiration like my others. Normaly these ones come out bad and I'm not good in this area. Help me out because I want to give it to my girlfriend. Thanx!! [bodytext] => I walked through the trenches of dirt,
Where I mellowed with the fellows of darkness.
Smiled for the people above my hearth,
Where they would walk on with their rifles of hurt.

Though in the midst of my darkened slum,
A pair of green eyes were watching me glum!
In my quick turn of delight
Went out those beautiful lights.

While I hung in dismay,
Came the horde of envoys.
They claimed that those eyes just may
Be the orbs of a fair goddess!

Lured by this obscure enigma,
I made my way to majestic Olympus.
Storms crossed and lands conquered,
All in my darkened trench of dirt.

Yet at the foot of the lofty alp,
Ended my trench of sorrow.
And in it's stead,
Laid a curious road to follow.

What a sight for me to see!
Face of an Angel...
White of snow.
Eyes of green,
Too pretty to know.
A curious nose,
Cute as can be!
And lips that of roses
For someday to kiss.

Her body was that of luscious curves,
A god like figure.
Now how could this be?
All this said to await me?

Dropped to my knees in awe,
I called but believed naw'.
Though she came,
None the less,
Down to her knees
For a hug and some rest.

Away we walked from that peak,
About love we should not speak.
Two shy hearts,
Amongst the rest.
Sooner or later,
Love to manifest.
