looking in my eyes, feeling my own skin.
I am perfect on the outside,
exactly what He desires.
but on the inside I'm cold as ice,
and my sins could ignite 100 fires.
Why did He go through so much, just to get
looked over?
Giving Him ignorance and then the cold shoulder.
Everynow and then, you'll go to church
and you'll pray,
but He wants you to be a conformist to Him,
not some unknown stray.
I'm holding my own hand,
wiping away my tears.
Telling myself that atleast Christ loves me,
then why do I still have fears?

Great write.
God doesn't give us things in life that we can't handle. Nice job.

Very thought provoking write.

A good poem. We are all sinners, but as long as the struggle is there, we are making progress.
