Can't think,
can't concentrate,
don't want to till
I get these things straight.
It's like the world’s
spinning has come to a stop.
And everywhere you look,
there's a cop.
Cause it seems there are no
safe places in the world anymore.
I wish it could be the way,
it was before
all this craziness.
Face it, the world’s gone mad.
Things are shaken up,
and people can't help but be sad.
Everywhere you look
all you see is crime,
taking up our
precious time.
Things are getting bad
and its so hard to deal,
one thing happens, then something worse,
no time to heal.
It seems like life
gets better but then
the worst thing imaginable,
happens... again.
I don't get it,
It's not that hard to get along,
and do good, great, and wonderful,
instead of death, hurt, and wrong. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 173 [topic] => 25 [informant] => karmen [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )

it must be awfully hard to get along...everywhere i look i see nothing but man's inhumanity to man. sometimes, it's called progress; sometimes, it's justice; heaven only knows what the other 'excuses' are!
excellent sentiments and thanks for sharing.

I especially like this part.. beautifully written. Understandable to almost everyone, too.. It really is like as soon as you try and get over something, try to feel better, it just gets worse..

And when you think it can't get any worse, it does..

Great job. Loved it.
