Tears away into tears in my eyes
As I cannot escape the longings of my every hour.
So many times I try
Passionately
To tell myself that here love never mattered,
For we are apart in spirit and space,
And you are moving on faster than this shallow winter
In which you left me barren and all so alone,
Empty and my love no more.

So many times I try…
Your face...
Sets my heart ablaze with desires long unsaid and kept secret
In silence and contempt.
Here the mirror fails to deceive:
“I love you”...
It escapes my lips in broken whispers, unheard and unknown.

"The heart wants what the heart wants," you tell me,
"And that’s the truth of man."
O how priceless then it must be!
When this heart of mine I silence for the sake of hearts!
But you turn away impatiently, and my
Presence
Quickly became a memory, buried in shallow snow
With shallow coldness of this shallow winter.

Here the place we sat that day where first I saw your face.
"I gave my all," it meant nothing.
Quickly came and quickly gone
Like thunder flash and thunder bolt of a hesitant winter
In which this heart grasped for air
Under the heaviness of a world that judges
By “the seen” and “the sensible,”
A love which ended whilst it had never
Begun
In shallow winter.

Howya,

Thought I'd give your stuff the once over in return!

Really like this, it's nicely bleak and has a nicely controlled sense of loss.
Like "The Seen" and "The Sensible" refference though don't totally get it!

All the best!
