Broken Tears

Topic: LovePoetry

Would you still love me if I told you I lied?

Would you still love me if I got down on my knees and cried?

If I begged you not to go, would you stay?

If I said it was stupid, and that I was sorry would you stay and be happy?

I never meant to hurt youbecause I never thought it would be.

I was just a foolish little 13 year old needing self-esteem.

I just wanted to play a game, to have a friend, but then it changed into a fairy tale, and this could be the end

A few lies can kill something so precious.

I live with this burden everyday wishing I could tell you everyday

But Im scared youll leave even if I get on my knees and beg

But Im scared, that youll go and hate me and I would die before you held the hand of another.

I dont want you to stay, and pretend our love is fine, not if youre putting your happiness before mine

I wanted to tell you for over 2 years now; I want you to love me for whom I really am, not for who I created.

But its so hard to tell you

When Im afraid youll hate me, so hard to tell you when Im afraid youll leave

Please look into my pleading eyes of agony, and pain.

Know what I did was not meant to cause painIt may be hard for you.

But please remember that Ive carried this burden for over 2 years

Ive cried over it, and its made me sick, because I dont know what to do

So Im writing this to you to tell you the truth...

Im sorry for what I did, and its fine if you want to go, but I will die without you, because youre my world, it will be hard to live without you, but I guess Ill have to learn

Because after I tell you thisIll never hear you whisper I love you. into my ear

And when Im crying, you wont tell me everythings okay, you wont place my broken tears back into my porcelain eyes

The blood from my wrist, is for the lies Ive told.

This is such a heartfelt write. And such emotion knows no boundaries like age.

you are more than one ordinary person. More than a being for others, more than this brokeness. we are who we make ourselves, hurt is the means of our strength. You are strong, do not eradicate or underestimate the human ability to cope. what we cannot understand plagues us. this write is dedicated to feeling it is slavery in the best form. I loved your honesty in the ties of justification. keep your head up. Someone can fix those broken tears :)

~Take my blade
wash it clean
pretend you know
just what i mean
when i tell you
you are priceless
keep that tear
it's not of me
maybe you will never see
this girl with scars is who i am
you're not changing her
when you hold my hand~weepingprophet

wow I don't know what to say this written with
such pain. I've been there before, but i want
you to know that NO ONE is worth cutting
over. If your being hurt you need to get out of
this relationship now. A good poem, but I just
felt I needed to say a bit more than that. Stay true to yerself and keep your head up.
