I tend to have trouble with strict forms myself and haiku tend to leave one desperately counting their fingers as they conjure images through words. Great first attempt at one! Nightmare or night terror ... perhaps even life itself comes to mind.

peace

Good starting hiaku. It's always difficult to write with boundries, especially such limiting ones. And yet you show nice imagery, in only 17 syllables. Nice write, congratz

I better not comment..I tend to write strict Japanese form and .. this is not according to form.. nature..first line showing what season..all that..and I said I wasn't going to comment..but then you didn't say what kind of haiku you were attempting.. Americans!! I didn't even know you'd been on..wearing your cloak of invisability again? LOL ..

Naz,

I don't know anything about Haiku, so I won't comment on that. But what does impress me is your willingness to try new things, to bridge new boundaries.

Don't laugh, but I'm picturing a white faced clown lying dead in his bed staring straight at the ceiling.

I am always amazed at how well done Haiku can express so much with so little.
You have achieved that here my friend.

My brain is dead. Nothing is coming up. All that's blinking is:

More when words are suitable. Love this. Thanks so much for sharing. Chéri, vous ne manquez jamais d'impressionner et attirer. Forever,

A few descriptions come to mind when I read this: hard-hitting, horrifying, gripping. The punchline is... very punchy lol. Nice one :)

Nice work! I admire haiku, but don't naturally express myself in it. It's one of those danish things. Ah, never mind... inside lingo.

Keep it up. And watch out for the clowns.

Yup, I'm afraid of the dark, too. Scary stuff. Uh, the poem and the dark.

Nice job.

Take care,

Tim
