Watches her eyes go dark
Thinks he’s doing her a favor
Feeding a hungry shark

They cry as she lies so still
Placed by experienced hands
So sadly run-of-the mill
So greatly in demand

She watches from the heavens
As he takes another one down
Again to bond and sever
Again to break and drown

Another bed is vacant
A funeral in the pouring rain
Another life is taken
A death filled with suffering, pain

Another family mourns
As their child is buried before her time
Another heart is torn
As he opens another bottle of wine

He doesn’t understand his sins
He only wants to get revenge
For what his mother did
To him before they buried her in that trench

When they beg him for their lives
With their dying breaths
He hears her words, like throwing knives
And revels in “her” death

He leaves them there to rot
Like he would have done to her
If only she had simply got
Exactly what she had deserved

In his mind its only right
That he get justice for his sorrowful life
By stopping their hearts at night
By murdering them to relieve his strife

And when he grips them in his hands
And the tears stream down their faces
As he carries out his demented plans
He sees small semblance traces
Of her and her maternal heartlessness
And when its done…. he feels he can rest

this was really good, must've been hard to explain a serial killer's mentality so well in rhyme!
