My skin sereates, I release my life
All this is possible from the quick drag of the knife
I have had enough, I am at my end
I can no longer live for I have sinned
"I am sorry everyone for what I am to do,
Forgive me I cant stop, my life is through"

I am edged on by family and friend
For the pain I will suffer, I do not defend
I have endured much that I do not greeve
So with my end, of this torment I will be releaved
My passions are destroyed, my love squandered
Why I put up with this is something that I have pondered
I have spoken many times of this but never compleated
So they will all be shocked when my life is deleated

So here I am with blade in hand
Ready to take my last stand
I do not know how it came to this
But this pain on no one I would wish
So on that note my wrist I slit
and now all will know that on my life I did quit.

' This is going to hurt."
He cuts
'too late now." [comments] => 4 [counter] => 194 [topic] => 36 [informant] => wolfman [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 18 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

When those who are depressed are left with too much time to think, hide within themselves, etc., it lets the brain wander a bit too much into the shadows. This suits my mood currently.

peace

Well written, Wolf.
I do really love the way almost all of your poems end with you narrating the last few lines. Very interesting trademark.
Indeed, I thought this one was good.
Come on, you thought your parents where bad, I thought you just saw that one movie...
Take care
David

That was a good ending, Wolf my man. And a good poem at that. A depressing subject, but you always handle it well. Your pen has an affinity with the pain, yet there's wisdom in there that brings in a different perspective from those of the lost.

Take care now.
Andrew
