Trapped in a chain of misery
I wonder if I'll ever be free.
I'm sick of this country
give me liberty.
I'm tired of the hunger,
I'm tired of the cold.
When will this nightmare end
in this spiraling hole, its like I'm sold.
Trapped in these chains of miseryI dont think I'll ever be free.
When can I get my own right
and just be me?
I want to be different,
I want to stand out.
But these chains of misery they hold me back
without a doubt.
I cry out loud
waiting for someone to hear,
yet no I'm trapped in these chains of misery
for more than just a year.
I want to be let go of
and set out and soar,
yet no, I'm trapped in these chains of misery.
I cry my heart out
waiting for it all to end.
Why cant it just end?
Its not like I can mend.
I'll be broken down
and nothing will be left . . .
except these chains of misery.
